How access works

The open-source model is free for everyone, including anonymous use, with 1,500 requests/month. The faster frontier models cost real money to run, so they’re funded by supporters and metered for cost recovery — no “unlimited” claims. You keep free open-model access either way.

Financial hardship

No cost

Cost should never be the reason you can’t learn civics. If a gift isn’t possible right now, request a hardship grant — 250 frontier requests/month on top of the free open model. Request hardship access →

Every gift goes to SuperCitizen

BetterCitizen is a platform of SuperCitizen, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit — all gifts are unrestricted and go to the Organization; giving here simply attaches BetterCitizen access as a thank-you. Prefer to give to the mission generally? Give to SuperCitizen →
